Sailing School

This watercolor was done from a photo taken at Point Loma Landing in San Diego. I was setting up my Plein Air easel to capture this array of tiny learning sail boats and the class suddenly showed up and they all waited away. I used several photos to paint this in the studio, but I tried to paint it as if it were plein air.
