Living Legacy

Historic homes and buildings speak to me as this one did. The unique and beautiful roof tops of Deepwood Estate and Gardens popping out amongst lush and dense foliage and amid the beautiful Lord & Schryver designed gardens had to be painted. I set up and tried to capture the morning sun bathing the scene…hoping to do it justice. It is oil on linen panel, 9x12, painted in 3 morning sessions.
