Lost In A Daydream

During the initial Covid lockdown, this painting saved my sanity by reminding me of all things true and beautiful. I came upon this hedge of wild roses while walking on my country road. I was brought to tears by the beauty of it, how it bloomed regardless of it's circumstances. It had been unattended, sitting in front of an old house, yet offering beauty and grace.
