Smokey Hollow Falls

Being inspired by waterfalls, Smokey Hollow Waterfall provided the inspiration and challenge
to capture the power and beauty of its force. Thin layers of warm and cool greys are the foundation of this under painting. Once dry, more layers of varying rock color were added. Foliage color followed as well as a light to mid-tone values for the waterfall. Finally, using palette knife, shaper and brushes subtle variations of tone and analogous color details were enhanced.
