Purple Coneflowers and Yellow Daisies

I created this 9"x 12" oil on linen panel at a local land conservation site (Chester County, PA) that had a wildflower garden teeming with coneflowers, daisies, and other pollinator plants. It was a beautiful summer morning before the heat of the day took hold. I was inspired by the complementary color palette and the way the flowers seem to have a conversation with each other. Plus I'm an admirer of pollinator gardens!
