Chasing Pigeons

The public Square in San Miguel De Allende is naturally filled with people feeding the pigeons. And naturally, there are kids chasing them... (as they do all over the world). This is my first painting in a series of kids in public squares playing and chasing birds. This painting is based on photographic notes made there in Mexico on Easter Sunday. The little girl was in her Easter best dress, flowing as she joyously ran.
