Oil on canvas, original title is “Oyate Nimkte Wacin Yelo” ( Lakota Sioux for “ I want the people to live in a spiritual sense). It is the first large oil i ever completed. Many transparent layers. The first version had a skinnier horse, painted over it with one that looked stronger.
