Spring Rest

Trying to capture every bit of the spring on the countryside, while the lights through the trees where changing all the time. I am so inspired by the sound of the wind and the birds singing that I asked my sister in law, if I could paint her resting. I put a lamp outside to serve as a easel, and there I went all day long painting until it was cold and night. It is exactly what I also do to feel some peace. So I painted while enjoying the harmony of it all. Oil on canvas.
