The commentary throught the painting concerns the image of a woman who does not want and does not need to be another a plastic doll. Just as defined by social media and promotional standards. This is a modern Ophelia who has control of her life by claiming and choosing the image she wants, through the rebirth of her freedom. Ophelia of our time is dynamic, respects her female nature and she is real, not plastic. She is simple herself without life style wrappers.
