Where the Light Touches

This oil painting on canvas was inspired by an evening at the watering hole in Spring Creek Basin, CO. This was a beautiful moment where two stallions from different bands came together and "checked each other". It was fascinating to see how the leading stallions would interact while being in the same space with their own herds. Harmoniously taking turns getting water. This sunset was magic on this landscape, brilliant color and a brilliant presence.
