Morning Movement

This oil painting on board with Belgian Linen was inspired by my time in Spring Creek Basin, CO while observing the bands of wild horses there. This was the first morning I spent quietly sitting and watching the horses behaviors and travel patterns. I loved to see where they enjoyed the sunrise, spend the mid high desert days in the shade, and migrate to the watering hole for sunset. Gaining this experience was so inspiring and made me obsessed with bringing them to life on my canvases.
