To Roam Once More

Oil on Linen, I liked the mood of this buffalo that I took reference drawings and photos from when I was visiting Yellowstone Natl Park, it seemed as if he was stating he would love once more to roam with the free herds of the past. I chose to place him in a wide open prairie setting to help show the mood of longing for the nostalgic past of roaming with a large herd in freedom.
