I Come to Your Garden

I was on vacation in Virginia and at an anniversary party for my aunt and uncle. I took note of a glorious tree in the middle of a garden of hydrangeas. I had no sketching tools but I stood and studied the scene. Then I remembered I had my phone and took the picture. When I returned home, I proceeded to put the composition together and paint.
