I'll Follow the Snow

This view is from one of my favorite spots to paint in Central Oregon. It's across from the Mt. Bachelor, the local ski area, and has many spectacular views that I've painted on location in every season. And it's a spot that usually still has snow when there isn't any in town! But for this composition, I chose a zoomed in view and made it all about shapes and light, and also had some fun with edges! It was created as a demonstration for a local group here in Bend.
