Cabin by the Stream

One early morning I saw how the sunrise touched the treetops and set a portion of the old red barn aglow while shadows were cast by the trees upon the new snow. The Stream also caught the interesting light and shadowsI
On a watercolor canvas panel i began with an ink drawing of the trees and old barn which I envisioned as a habitat. Gouache paint finished the work which I sealed under Borland cold wax.
